For many years Janet organised machine knitting holidays which were a huge success when the 'industry' was booming. With the decline of Machine Knitting, Janet diversified to overlocking and made it her speciality. Using her experience of 10 Machine Knitting Holidays, Janet organised her first sewing break in Ryedale January 2003, followed by Scarborough in November 2003. Both were rated a great success.

Key Benefits of Sewing Holidays

  • Get away from the distractions of home life to concentrate on your hobby.
  • Enjoy being with others who share the same interest as you.
  • Experience tuition at its best as the tutors guide you through making projects and learning techniques .
  • Whatever experience or ability you have, you will always learn something new.

Each course can be built to your requirement and your ability.

You can have technique training to explore your overlocker and all of the accessories or you may like to make a project under supervision.

The classes start at 10am and finish at 5pm

There is no charge for using threads, or any sewing notions.
